Amelia Brandt, CPCS, senior healthcare consultant, worked in the state government under State Senator John J. Shumaker and Lt. Governor Mark S. Schweiker. Brandt spent 26 years in the private sector before starting a trek into the field of healthcare. Brandt worked for over 11 years in the credentialing office at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, performing primary source verifications for new physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Then, Brandt moved to the Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Allergy where she stayed for over 3 years. Here, she performed administrative duties, spoke with patients, and was the coordinator of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program, governed by the ACGME.
Prior to joining Zetter HealthCare, Amelia Brandt worked at the Drayer Physical Therapy Institute in the Credentialing Office. Here, she performed payer enrollment for therapists located in Indiana, Kentucky, and New Jersey and assisted co-workers with their states. Additionally, Amy maintained the CAQH profiles, performed Medicare re-validations, licensed verifications for over 700 therapists, and abided by the NCQA guidelines.
Amelia Brandt obtained her Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification in December of 2009 and has maintained this certification ever since. She is currently a member of NAMSS, PAMSS, SCCPAMSS, NAPW, ASAP and CMN Fashion Show Committee.
